Management Accountant
Our client is an award-winning manufacturing business is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant to join successful business and become a key member of staff within the finance department.
The role
- Prepare month end financial information is completed on time
- Prepare and submit all monthly and quarterly supporting Management accounts
- Complete all Month End account reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of monthly forecasts and annual budgets
- Participate in the annual budget and forecasts
- Co-ordinate the input of all financial data into the company reporting database
- Assist the cost accountants in reviewing existing product costs – including labour, materials and overheads
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external auditors
- Influence financial decisions at key points in the month end timeline
- Train and mentor junior members of the finance team
- Any other ad hoc duties within the finance team
Essential Criteria
- A minimum of 3 (+) years in a senior accounts position
- A fully qualified chartered accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
- Excellent computer skills particularly with Excel
- Good people management skills
- Experience of producing management accounts
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent communication skills
