Job Title: Front of House Team Member

Job Purpose
As a Front of House Team Member, you are the face of our restaurant, responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. This role includes greeting and seating guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional hospitality.
· Guide guests to their tables and assist with seating arrangements.
· Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
· Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally.
· Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with a friendly and proactive attitude.
· Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including tables, floors, and restrooms.
· Process payments and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.
· Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
· Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
· Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Person Specification
- Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or customer service role preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling payments.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Personal Qualities:
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items safely.
