A new position within the community has been funded to pilot an exciting opportunity. We have been given the opportunity to start to build relationships and really influence the quality of palliative (and end of life) care, being delivered in the Nursing/Care Homes in our catchment area. This opportunity is really for someone who wants a project they can craft on their own and to make it what they envision.
The role would require engagement with local Nursing/Care Homes who have the highest admission rates to the acute and the lowest number of ReSPECT forms completed. It would need someone who enjoys monitoring outcomes and gathering evidence to really illustrate the impact of this project.
In addition, the person would need creative thinking, great interpersonal skills and a lot of self-motivation. This role could be shared so if there are a few clinicians interested; it could be a joint project. However, ideally, any candidate for the role would need some experience of data collection which would include both quantitative and qualitative objectives.
We offer a great range of employee schemes and benefits, including generous annual leave, free parking close by, EAP, access to NHS pension scheme if eligible, Blue Light Discount Card and so much more!
