Do you enjoy making sense of complexity and turning insight into practical and important ethically led change?
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join RNIB’s TechnologyTeam, helping teams understand problems, define needs and deliver accessible, inclusive solutions that support blind and partially sighted people.
We are looking for a collaborative and curious Business Analyst who enjoys solving problems and making a real difference. You will have experience in eliciting requirements, creating diagrams and maps of processes/systems, shaping change that improves products and services, working with teams across a variety of business areas, using appropriate techniques to understand challenges. You will be comfortable in defining needs and have assisted delivery of solutions that are practical, inclusive and measurable.
The successful candidate will help the RNIB produce artefacts to aid the understanding of business problems and opportunities, explore where we are and what needs to change, along with defining what successful outcomes will look like. You will work across both Products/Services and Projects, supporting change from early discovery through to design, development, testing and implementation.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong grounding in business analysis and a practical, people-centred approach to change. You will have good time management skills and will be able to work with ambiguity, ask good questions, structure information clearly, and help teams move from problem definition to agreed outcomes. You will be a self-starter with good stakeholder engagement skills and have knowledge of diagramming and mapping techniques.
What We Offer
RNIB prides itself on being a great place to work with a positive, progressive culture. We offer a wide range of benefits including 27 days of holiday per year (plus bank holidays) which rises with service, enhanced family friendly benefits, a contributory pension scheme with an employer contribution of up to 11% and a rewards platform with employee discounts across over 800 retailers.
