We are looking for experienced Deputy Manager to support the leadership of our residential children’s home in the West Midlands. Small homes, strong teams and a well-structured environment.
And just so we are clear from the start, this is not a chaotic setting. Our homes are well run, well-staffed and led by managers who are present and accessible every single day.
The Pay
Up to £38,000 depending on experience.
No unsafe lone working. Consistent rota. A strong team around you every shift.

The Role
As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the home runs smoothly, safely and to a high standard every day.
You will support with leadership of the team, oversee shift delivery, and step into the Manager’s role when required. You will play a key part in maintaining compliance, supporting staff development and ensuring young people receive consistent, high-quality care.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will still be present on the floor, building relationships with young people and leading by example.

What We Are Looking For
• Minimum 3 years residential children’s care experience
• Previous experience as a Team Leader or Senior
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Level 5 or working towards desirable)
• Full UK driving licence
• A confident leader who supports, develops and challenges their team
