We are looking for a lunch time cover/cleaner to support the nursery during the busy period of the day.
Within this role you will be required to:
· To support qualified staff with daily routines in the nursery.
· To set up lunch rooms ensuring each room has appropriate crockery and cutlery.
· To learn how to retrieve meals from the kitchen ensuring health and safety methods are adhered to at all times and appropriate PPE is worn.
· Ensure all children dietary requirements are checked over with the kitchen staff and communicated with staff serving food in each room.
· Support children during meal times with handwashing.
· Follow nursery dietary policies and procedures.
· Role model healthy eating habits encouraging children to try all foods offered whether they are eating nursery or home prepared meals.
· Understand safer food better business
· Ensure the rooms are cleaned and sanitised thoroughly after each meal time
· Manage laundry for each room.
· If the nursery is quiet to complete deep cleaning duties as advised by room leaders
· To learn how to role model positive behaviours and interactions during time in each play room.
· Understand the importance of keeping everyone safe and the part you play over the lunch period.
· To ensure you attend all training courses and staff meetings as required.
· To learn, understand and implement the Little Twisters policies and procedures within the nursery.
· To understand the values and principles of Little Twisters and implement in your daily routine with the children.
· To follow the Early Years Foundation Stage when caring for our children.
Cleaning experience would be helpful, however full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.
A DBS/Criminal record check will be completed and paid for by the company for the successful candidate.
