Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team With a MOT License. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency with both hand and power tools.
We can also accomodate the right person if they are looking to do mainly MOT's with a few minor repairs carried out where needed.
Responsibilities:
- Carry Out Servicing & General Repiars To All Makes
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functionality
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
Skills:
- Proficiency with Various Tools & Special Equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Experience with power tools such as impact wrenches and air compressors
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills (Diagnostics)
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
This is a full-time position Monday to Friday (No Weekends) in a relaxed workspace with competitive pay & the business shuts down over the Christmas holidays. . If you have a passion for mechanics and enjoy working in a relaxed environment, we would love to hear from you.
