Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Cook. This role is ideal for those with a passion for food preparation and cooking, who thrive in a fast-paced home-from-home kitchen environment. The Cook will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of meal preparation, food safety, and overall kitchen operations.

Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus, including home baking.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Assist in the planning and execution of meal preparation for events and daily service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service.
- Provide support in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.
- Engage with customers when serving food, providing excellent service and addressing any dietary concerns.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking and baking within a professional kitchen environment that is home-from-home.
- Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines to cater for all cultures and backgrounds.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
