About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused Voids Supervisor to lead the efficient turnaround of vacant (Void) properties. You’ll ensure homes are brought back to lettable standard quickly, safely, and to a high quality—meeting all regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in minimising void periods, controlling costs, and delivering effective repairs and refurbishment works. Your work will directly support getting homes ready for residents as quickly as possible, making a real impact on service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Operational Management - Coordinate void works from end of tenancy to re-let, ensuring timely delivery through effective planning, inspections, and contractor management.

Quality & Compliance - Ensure all works meet housing standards, health & safety requirements, and relevant legislation.

Performance & Cost Control - Monitor budgets, track KPIs, and drive efficiencies to achieve cost-effective, high-performing delivery.

Customer Focus - Work with lettings teams to ensure homes meet customer expectations and resolve any issues quickly and effectively.

Team Leadership - Support and guide team members while promoting a strong performance and safety culture.

Health & Safety - Ensure safe working practices through site inspections, audits, and compliance with risk controls and procedures.
More About You

Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English - (Grades A*- C)

Professional qualification in surveying, construction or related discipline

Experience within social housing or a similar environment

Working knowledge of building construction, repairs, related current legislation and regulations.

Understanding of housing legislation including HHSRS, Awaab’s Law, and health & safety requirements

Experience managing contractor performance, KPIs, and SLAs

Understanding of case management governance and service quality control.

Strong data analysis and performance reporting skills, producing clear, decision-focused reporting.

Strong problem-solving and service improvement skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management
-
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
