Retreat Consultant

Combe Grove is a centre for advanced health and wellbeing set within 70 acres of beautiful countryside overlooking the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath.
We are seeking a driven, resilient and commercially minded sales professional to join our team as a Retreat Consultant.
This is a newly created role with a clear objective: to increase bookings across our retreats, wellness stays and health and wellbeing experiences.
The majority of your time will be spent speaking with warm enquiries from individuals who have already expressed an interest in improving their health and wellbeing. Using a consultative sales approach, you will take the time to understand each prospective guest's goals, motivations and barriers before recommending the most suitable programme or stay.
This is not a customer service role disguised as sales. We are looking for a proven salesperson who understands how to build rapport, handle objections, manage a pipeline and convert enquiries into bookings.
As the first person in this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of retreat sales at Combe Grove.
What You'll Be Doing
- Converting warm enquiries into confirmed bookings
- Following up leads generated through marketing campaigns, events and referrals
- Conducting professional and consultative sales conversations over the telephone
- Building trust and rapport with prospective guests
- Managing your own sales pipeline and follow-up activity
- Achieving agreed revenue, conversion and occupancy targets
- Maintaining accurate records within our CRM and booking systems
- Identifying opportunities to upsell complementary treatments, services and experiences
- Working closely with Marketing, Reservations, Operations and the Practice Team
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a target-driven sales role
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets
- Experience conducting telephone-based sales conversations
- Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales records
- Strong consultative selling skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
- Highly organised and self-motivated
- Resilient and comfortable working towards targets
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of results
Desirable
- Experience within hospitality, travel, wellness, healthcare or leisure sectors
- Understanding of metabolic health, lifestyle medicine or preventative healthcare
- Understanding of health, wellbeing or lifestyle improvement programmes

This role is unlikely to suit someone looking for their first sales position.
Training and Support
We will provide full training on our retreats, facilities, systems and ways of working.
However, we are looking for someone who already understands the fundamentals of professional selling. We need somebody who can quickly become productive and make a positive commercial impact.
Salary & Benefits
Earnings
- Basic salary: £26,436 per annum
- Uncapped commission paid on all sales
- Expected On Target Earnings (OTE): £46,000 per annum
- Fixed commission percentage on every sale

Working Hours
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, generally Monday to Saturday, although some flexibility may occasionally be required to support business needs (for example exhibitions). The working hours are to be discussed, but we will expect evening and Saturday calls to be made.
