Proactive Personnel are looking for an experienced Senior Dispatch/FLT Operator to oversee the efficient coordination of warehouse operations and produce.
Duties
- Manage and coordinate daily dispatch activities to ensure timely delivery.
- Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently for loading, unloading, and material movement.
- Oversee warehouse management system (WMS) entries to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Lead a small dispatch team of 2-3 candidates.
- Assess and improve stores processes to continually ensure improvment.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
Skills
- Proven experience within a warehouse/dispatch/goods-in environment
- Strong understanding of materials handling procedures.
- Valid forklift licence with demonstrated experience operating forklifts safely.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for inventory counts and measurements.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Hours and Pay
- Monday to Friday Day shifts, between the hours of 8am - 5pm
- Temporary with the view for permanent work, for the right person
