The Opportunity
We're looking for a driven and commercially minded Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team in Horsham paying a basic salary of £27,500 - £29,000 +Commisions
This is a proactive outbound sales role focused on generating new wholesale business, opening retail accounts, and driving revenue growth. You'll be responsible for identifying opportunities, engaging decision-makers, and converting prospects into long-term customers.
This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of sales experience who enjoys winning new business, building relationships, and working in a target-driven environment.
For the right individual, there is a clear progression path into Account Management and Business Development roles as the company continues to grow.
Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business Development
- Prospect and engage independent retailers, hobby stores, gaming venues, and specialist stockists
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and sales outreach to generate new opportunities
- Identify decision-makers and present Mystery Dice Goblin's wholesale offering
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline from initial contact through to account activation
- Convert prospects into active wholesale customers
Account Onboarding
- Support new customers through the onboarding process
- Ensure first orders are placed smoothly and efficiently
- Deliver an exceptional first experience that sets the foundation for long-term relationships
- Handover accounts to the wider commercial team where appropriate
Pipeline & Performance Management
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasting within Hubspot
- Track opportunities through the sales cycle
- Consistently manage follow-ups and customer communications
Market Intelligence
- Gather customer feedback and market insights
- Identify competitor activity and emerging trends
- Contribute ideas to improve sales messaging and customer acquisition strategies
What We're Looking ForEssential
- 2–3 years' experience in a sales, business development, SDR, telesales, or account acquisition role
- Proven ability to generate new business and hit sales targets
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence speaking with decision-makers over the phone and via email
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated, resilient, and commercially driven
- Experience using CRM systems and managing a sales pipeline
Desirable
- Experience selling into retail, wholesale, or distribution channels
- Background in hobby, gaming, collectibles, or consumer products
- Interest in tabletop gaming, board games, or TTRPGs
