Must hold a level 2 swim teacher qualification.
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Swim Instructor to join our team at our aquatic centre in Basingstoke.
As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in teaching individuals of all ages and abilities how to swim and improve their water safety skills.
Venue:
Village Hotel Basingstoke, Plot W, Basing View, Basingstoke RG21 4EQ(Self employed)
Hours:
Tuesday or Thursday 4- 6pm
Friday 4- 6pm
Saturday 9am - 12pm
Duties:
- Conduct swimming lessons for individuals or groups, focusing on skill development and water safety.
- Create engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs and abilities of each swimmer.
- Provide constructive feedback to swimmers to help them improve their technique.
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all participants.
- Monitor swimmers' progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
Skills:
- Experience in swim teaching, instructing or coaching is essential.
- Ability to educate and communicate effectively with swimmers of all ages and skill levels.
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swimming strokes and techniques.
Must hold all of the following qualifications and documents to apply for this position.:
- level 2 swim teacher qualification
- Life saving (NPLQ or NRASCT or safety award for teachers)
- Enhanced DBS
- level 2 Safeguarding ( can be acquired later)
- Swim England or STA membership (Can be acquired later)
