Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring access points, maintaining order, and providing assistance when necessary. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. All duties will be performed in accordance with relevant safety regulations and company policies.
Duties
- Monitor entrances and exits to control access and prevent unauthorised entry.
- Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity within the premises.
- Perform loss prevention activities by identifying suspicious behaviour and deterring theft or vandalism.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors professionally and assisting with enquiries.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment for all patrons and staff.
- Respond promptly to incidents, including providing first aid when necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of incidents, visitor numbers, and security checks.
- Collaborate with security team members to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques.
- Basic first aid certification is desirable.
- Strong observational skills with an eye for detail in loss prevention.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
