Summary
The children, staff and governors of Lomeshaye Junior School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Level 2B Learning Support Assistant to join our school.
Lomeshaye Junior School is a large and popular school, located close to the centre of Nelson. We are an inclusive school, serving a diverse community, in which every child is valued. All staff work hard to ensure we provide the best for our children and their families and the children are always at the heart of everything we do.
This role is 30 hours per week and there will be a requirement to carryout an additional 30 minute daily Welfare Duty role.
The successful applicant will:
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher to meet the personal, social and educational needs of all pupils
- Be committed to upholding our school's values and nurturing ethos
- Have a passion for developing children's learning across the curriculum
- Build strong and positive relationships with children, staff and families and work as part of a team
- Be committed to whole-school life and be willing to support extra-curricular activities and school events, if required
- Be able to demonstrate good communication skills
- Show a willingness to develop and engage in continuous professional development
This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
