Veterinary Surgeon - Rotherham
Advanced facilities including CT | Genuine clinical growth and support
Feeling ready to do more with your experience?
If you’ve built solid GP experience but feel like you’re capable of more, more clinical depth, more support, more progression, this could be the step that reignites your enthusiasm for practice.
The Opportunity
We’re working with a large, purpose-built veterinary practice in Rotherham that has been designed around one simple idea. Give vets the tools, time, and team to do their best work.
This is not a role where you are rushed through consults or left carrying everything alone. You will be part of a collaborative clinical environment where ideas are shared, cases are discussed, and development is actively encouraged, especially if you have an interest in dentistry.
They are looking for a vet with 3 or more years of GP experience who enjoys the variety of first opinion work but also wants the opportunity to deepen their skills. Someone who values teamwork, communicates well, and genuinely cares about delivering high standards of patient care.
Why This Role Is Different
A practice built for clinical excellence
- 9 consultation rooms and 4 operating theatres, reducing bottlenecks and time pressure
- Dedicated dental suite, ideal if you have or want to develop a dentistry focus
- Ultrasound and a 128-slice CT scanner on site, giving you access to advanced diagnostics rarely seen in first opinion settings
A team that shares knowledge, not pressure
- A mix of experienced vets and colleagues working towards certificates
- Strong nursing and support teams so you can focus on clinical work
- A culture where discussing cases is encouraged, not seen as a weakness
Real variety in your caseload
- Preventative care through to complex medical and surgical cases
- Opportunity to follow cases through with continuity
- Scope to develop clinical interests and shape your own caseload over time
A workplace that invests in people
- Internal leadership training available for those who want to grow beyond clinical work
- Funded memberships and CPD support aligned with your interests
- A clear commitment to long-term development, not just filling a rota gap
