Role Overview
We are seeking a highly driven, tenacious business development manager who thrives on targets, competition, and closing deals. This role is ideal for someone who is results-focused, developing and maintaining strong client relationships and motivated by exceeding sales targets rather than simply meeting them whilst understanding the importance of compliance, credibility, and long-term client relationships.
You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and consistently delivering measurable revenue growth whilst representing the company’s vision and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities
- Conduct high-volume outbound activity (calls, emails, meetings) with discipline and persistence
- Developing and maintain strong client relationships
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to close
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline using CRM systems
- Follow up leads professionally until a clear outcome is achieved
- Conduct site visits, surveys, and client meetings where required
- Negotiate confidently and close deals with a commercial mindset
- Accurately forecast sales performance and report progress against targets
- Maintain strong knowledge of relevant legislation and standards (e.g. Fire Safety Order, Building Safety Act, BS & HTM standards)
- Represent the company professionally and competitively in the market
