Looking for experienced Reachtruck/ Flexi/ Bendi/ Pivot Forklift Drivers for our Warehouse - please don't apply if you don't have this experience.
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Warehouse Workers to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting the efficient operation of our warehouse through various materials handling tasks, ensuring smooth shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining a safe and organised environment. The successful candidate will have prior warehouse experience and possess the necessary skills to handle heavy lifting and operate warehouse equipment effectively.
Duties
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, including forklifts (Reach/pivot/balance forklift experience required)
- Manage inventory through accurate recording within our warehouse management system
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods
- Handle materials safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Conduct routine maintenance and mechanical checks on warehouse machinery
- Support stock organisation, storage, and retrieval to optimise space utilisation
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment is essential
- Valid forklift licence or certification is required (Bendi/Pivot or Reach essential)
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous
- Good physical fitness with the ability to perform lifting regularly
- Skills in materials handling, shipping & receiving, load & unload operations
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work overtime, including early mornings or late evenings if necessary
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
