We are seeking a skilled Reach Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure efficient loading, unloading, and movement of goods within the facility. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting and equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Unload containers
- Order picking when necessary
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments against packing lists.
- Assist in materials handling throughout the warehouse, ensuring products are stored correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse setting.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
- A valid Reach forklift operator certification - can be in house or external
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
Hours of Work
Monday - Friday - 9/10 hour per day , 7am start on a rota basis
Occasional weekend day when in busy period
