Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team. Must be experienced and comfortable working on a wide range of vehicles both classic and modern. The nature of our work covers custom work such as engine and drivetrain conversions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals to identify vehicle issues
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension. Including clutches, cambelts and engine rebuilds.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks
- Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Carry out routine maintenance procedures such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid top-ups
- Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment for vehicle repair
- Experience in assembly, disassembly, and equipment repair processes
- Competence in welding techniques for structural repairs or modifications
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance protocols and safety procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers

Pay: £33,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
