Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of patrons and premises at a venue in Bath. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, managing access control, and providing excellent customer service. This role is vital in creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere at our venue, requiring a confident presence and strong organisational skills.
Duties
- Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorised access and ensure only authorised individuals enter the premises
- Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity within and around the venue
- Perform regular loss prevention checks to minimise theft or unauthorised removal of property
- Enforce venue policies and procedures, including age verification and dress code compliance
- Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, de-escalating situations where necessary
- Provide first aid assistance in case of medical emergencies until professional help arrives
- Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management
- Assist with crowd control during events to ensure safety and order are upheld
Qualifications
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential
- Experience in security roles is highly desirable
- Familiarity with CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
- First aid certification is mandatory
- Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanour
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively
- Physically fit, with the ability to stand for extended periods and respond swiftly to incidents
- A proactive attitude with strong organisational skills and attention to detail

The contracted hours are 10 per week, however there is a wide scope of work we have available that you will be able to take on extra hours if you wish.
