An exciting opportunity to work within a family run, outstanding chain of nurseries in Liverpool, that has the highest standards of childcare and expectations of staff, whilst also providing excellent support and training for its employees. We are looking for staff who share our passion for supporting children’s learning and development and who value the importance of the Early Years.
About the Position
The Room Leader role involves working alongside the nursery manager and the staff team to ensure that all children receive high quality care, are kept safe and are provided with inclusive play and learning opportunities. The Room Leader will be expected to lead the staff team in their room and to support their manager. The Room Leader will be expected to effectively supervise, inspire and support colleagues to provide an enabling and fulfilling environment. They will also assist in implementing the EYFS and sharing good practice. Safeguarding children is paramount in our settings, all applicants will need an enhanced DBS check.
We welcome applications from practitioners qualified to NVQ Level 2 or above. Previous experience of working with children is preferred as is an understanding of the EYFS. We are proud of the Millie’s Mark accreditation that we have been awarded and so all staff will receive Paediatric First Aid training during induction.
