The Role
Reporting to the Surveying Manager, you’ll manage your own sites and be responsible for inspections from instruction through to completion.
You’ll:
- Carry out site inspections in line with Building Regulations
- Identify defects and ensure compliance across a range of projects
- Advise clients on building control and warranty requirements
- Work across residential, mixed-use, and commercial developments
- Support and mentor surveyors progressing through RBI registration
- Maintain accurate inspection records and reports
- Collaborate with developers, contractors, and internal teams
What You’ll Need
- Chartered membership (RICS, CABE or CIOB)
- RBI 2B and/or 2D (or working towards within 12–18 months)
- Strong experience in plan assessment and site inspections
- Solid understanding of Building Regulations and warranty standards
- Good communication skills and ability to manage your own workload
- A proactive, practical approach to problem solving
