DOMICILIARY CARE,VEHICLE ESSENTIAL
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in care homes or home care settings. Must have flexibility to either work morning or evening 7am-3pm or 3pm-10pm when is needed
Must be available to work alternate Weekends
Must be willing to travel to Faversham,Sittingbourne,Sheerness

Duties
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support individuals with their care plans, ensuring their needs and preferences are met
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance wellbeing
- Help with medication management in accordance with care plans
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the individual's condition
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding if necessary
- Support clients with light household tasks to promote independence
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, residents, and families to ensure seamless care delivery
- Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation
Requirements
- Valid driving licence and ability to drive to clients safely
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for those new to the sector
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Good command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, and patience when working with vulnerable individuals
- Ability to work flexibly, including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required
- A caring attitude with a genuine interest in supporting others' wellbeing

Pay: £13.68-£14.68 per hour
