We have an amazing opportunity for someone looking to develop their management skills in the childcare sector. You will lead a dynamic, supportive team in delivering high quality care at our breakfast and afterschool clubs for children ages 2-11 at our breakfast, afterschool and holiday clubs. This position can be term-time, with holiday club work available as overtime or a year-round contract.
We would also consider a holiday club only position, perfect for nursery and school staff in term-time only settings.
About Camp Glide
Established in 2013, Camp Glide is a growing childcare provider in the Redhill, Merstham, Banstead, Horley, Crawley and London areas with before and after school clubs as well as six thriving holiday clubs.
The ideal candidate will;
- Hold a minimum level 3 childcare/early years qualification/QTS
- Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.
- Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.
- Have a good understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stages)
- Be able to work well in a team, forming strong relationships with colleagues and parents.
- Have leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and effective running of the setting for children to enjoy and thrive in.
- Have a good understanding of the relevant national standards and guidance for Out of School Care. A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues and procedures is essential.
- The post holder must have effective communication skills to be able to inform, persuade, inspire and motivate children and staff and provide feedback for professionals and parents.
- The post holder must have effective organisation skills and the ability to perform administrative tasks.
You will be supported in the role by the central office team and through training, encouraging continued professional development.
- Flexible term time hours (20 to 25 per week) Including up to 3 hours of management time out of setting
- Flexible holiday club hours (10-50 per week) (Worked as overtime if on a term-time contract)
We will consider candidates with start dates from July 2026 - September 2026.
