We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of water infrastructure projects across multiple sites in the Leeds area. This role plays a key part in driving site performance, maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance, and supporting successful project delivery in a live construction environment.
- Manage day-to-day site operations across water infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and all relevant health, safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Develop, review, and implement RAMS, Method Statements, and other SHEQ documentation
- Lead site safety processes including toolbox talks, safe systems of work, and site inductions
- Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials, and plant to support programme delivery
- Monitor and report on site progress (daily, weekly, and monthly updates)
- Identify and report variations, assisting with change tracking and project scope control
- Maintain accurate site records, as-built information, and handover documentation
Essential
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in construction, civil engineering, or utilities environments
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and CDM Regulations
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- Experience managing subcontractors, site teams, and daily operations
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple site activities
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Ability to maintain accurate site records and reporting documentation
Desirable
- Experience within water, utilities, or infrastructure projects
- SMSTS qualification or equivalent site management certification
- Experience working within SHEQ frameworks
- Knowledge of programme delivery tracking and reporting tools
- Experience supporting project handovers and client reporting
