Summary
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Pershore site. This role is key to supporting our printing and production operation by ensuring printed packaging materials, raw stock, and finished goods are handled, stored, and dispatched efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, check, and put away raw materials, packaging stock, and finished printed products in line with site procedures.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy, quality, and correct labelling.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including Bendi (flexi) forklift trucks, to load and unload deliveries and move stock within the warehouse.
- Support the production and print teams by supplying materials to machines and removing finished goods as required.
- Use warehouse or stock control systems to record goods in, goods out, and stock movements accurately.
- Carry out regular stock checks and assist with stock takes, reporting discrepancies where identified.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient warehouse environment, including racking and storage areas.
- Inspect equipment and report any faults, damage, or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety, quality, and site-specific procedures at all times, particularly when handling printed materials and operating machinery.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across warehouse, production, and logistics to meet customer deadlines and operational targets.
Qualifications / Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, ideally within printing or packaging (desirable but not essential).
- Valid Bendi (flexi) forklift licence (preferred).
- Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic IT skills for stock control and record keeping.
- A positive, team-focused attitude with a strong awareness of health and safety.
