Your future, your role
As a Clinical Director, you will be
Accountable for Orthodontist productivity, career development, engagement and retention within the business
Responsible for the recruitment, supervision, training and management of Clinical Development Advisors in the Orthodontic Division
Providing leadership in implementing, maintaining excellent customer service and choice, quality, cost, UDA and private performance in accordance with the company strategy, goals and values
Working closely with operational management
Leading the performance management of clinicians who have been highlighted as outside standard good practice, including vital signs, GDC standards and NHS and other regulatory regulations
Leading formal clinician contractor review processes with the Operations team, and responsible for follow-up/action plan
Responsible for the management of escalated clinician complaints
Identifying core clinical training needs across the Region and action plans accordingly
Providing mentoring and coaching as appropriate, as well as providing observational sessions
You will need:
To be a qualified and GDC-registered Orthodontist or have significant experience within Orthodontics
Proven ability to take responsibility for keeping their skills and knowledge up to date
Up-to-date knowledge of statutory regulations relating to dentistry
Ability to grow and maintain a professional network to drive business forward
Sound understanding of business and commercial environment, and the need for effective management and controls
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Wealth of Clinical experience within dentistry and orthodontics
Excellent CQC, HTM0105 and clinical knowledge
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
Excellent coaching & mentoring skills
