Sushi Craft is an upscale sushi restaurant at Camden Town, London, We pride ourselves on delivering authentic Japanese flavours with a modern twist, using only the freshest ingredients. Our atmosphere is welcoming, and our team is passionate about providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests. We are now looking to expand our team with a talented and dedicated Sushi Chef who shares our passion for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare sushi, sashimi, and rolls according to our restaurant’s standards.
* Select, cut, and prepare the finest fish and other ingredients for sushi.
* Collaborate with the head chef to create seasonal and special sushi items.
* Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhere to all health and safety regulations, and manage inventory.
* Engage with customers to explain dishes and provide an exceptional dining experience.
* Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely preparation of orders.
Qualifications:
* Expertise in sushi preparation techniques, knife skills, and knowledge of Japanese cuisine.
* Ability to create visually appealing and innovative sushi dishes.
* Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
* Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
