Job Summary:
The Sales Support Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the sales department by providing essential administrative and operational support. This position involves managing sales documentation, processing orders, coordinating with other departments, and assisting key stakeholders with management information (MI) reporting. The role requires exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks effectively, and maintain clear communication.
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee the contract lifecycle from initiation to closure.
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks through thorough validation checks, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and sales agents.
- Provide ongoing support to the sales team to enable business targets to be met.
- Maintain accurate information in our CRM.
- Update and produce reports essential for management information, enabling informed day-to-day decision-making.
- Respond promptly to requests and manage both shared and individual inboxes.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are regularly monitored to support performance. It is expected that these KPIs are consistently met and followed.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in generating contracts using templates.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical conduct in handling confidential information and contractual agreements.
- Proactive, with a creative, problem-solving mindset.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel to update and produce reports.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Ability to use online supplier portals for contract submissions and queries.
- Some experience in the energy industry
