Overview
We are ideally looking for someone to be able to take on the role as CNC Production Manager offering an exciting opportunity to work with a leading high-precision component manufacturing firm based in Watford.
Reporting into the General Manager the successful candidate will ensure the efficient and effective day to day management of the workshop operations ensuring delivery dates are met and processes comply with ISO9001 industry standards
This role will include the following duties:
- Setting & Programming Citizen or Star Sliding Head Lathes in the manufacture of prototype and small to medium batch components. Working with various materials including stainless steel , aluminium and brass.
The ideal Production Manager will:
- Have proven experience of setting and operating CNC Lathes to produce small to medium batch high precision components.
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship however experience is the overriding factor.
The role is on a permanent basis; 5 working days, Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm,Friday 8.00am to 1.00pm
· Salary package based on qualification and working experience.
· Overtime/additional hours may be required, depending on the work load of the business
Pay: Up to £58,000 per year (depending on experience)
Pay: £45,000.00-£58,000.00 per year
