Job Summary
The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in MIG and TIG Welding.
Duties
- Assemble and fabricate metal structures and components from blueprints and technical drawings.
- Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Conduct inspections of welded joints and assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
- Apply basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during fabrication.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding, with a strong understanding of different welding techniques.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience working with sheet metal is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
