About the Job:
The Handyperson role forms an integral part of our team in London, focusing on building maintenance for both commercial and residential properties. This position requires a background in the building maintenance industry and a varied knowledge of carrying out maintenance duties in a commercial or residential environment. As a Handyperson, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of maintenance and repair work are carried out efficiently and to a high standard. Your day-to-day tasks will involve responding to maintenance requests, identifying issues, and providing practical solutions in a timely manner. You will handle a wide range of duties, from general repairs and installations to assisting with refurbishment projects and supporting other trades.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- General Maintenance / Handyperson duties
- Leak investigation
- Blind repairs
- Installation of hatches
- Installation of carpet tiles
- Installation of stair nosing’s
- Assisting other trades and gaining skill training
- Building furniture
- Procurement of materials and equipment to carry out works.
- Completion of work sheets via our mobile app
- This is a mobile role
Required qualifications and experience:
- Proficient in carrying out a wide range of general maintenance tasks
- A hardworking, reliable work ethic, flexible as overtime & OOH works may be required depending on client or job requirements.
- Previous experience in maintenance and building environments, ideally within commercial or residential sectors.
- A HSE understanding
- Full UK Driver’s License (not essential)
- Previous use of handheld technology / smartphone
- Take pride in doing everything you do to the highest standard
- A good communicator, who understands the importance of customer service.
- City and Guilds qualifications or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the building industry

Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 per annum
