KeyRing is a not-for-profit organisation that provides support to people in their local area. We do this in a variety of ways. This might be helping them to plan for their dream job or giving them advice on looking after their money. It really does depend on the individual but one of our main goals is to help people connect with the people around them and be part of their local communities. Because life is about more than a support provider.
We are looking for a manager who is ambitious for people and can lead a dynamic team to deliver excellent support. KeyRing are showcasing the benefits of self -directed support and you will be key to taking the team on this journey along with the people we support.
The role is home based and covers Bexley, Greenwich and Haringey so you must be well placed to travel between these areas when needed.
It is a full-time post of 37.5 hours a week with a salary of £34,020.00 per annum.
The role:
The role is responsible for the day-to-day management and leadership of a team of staff and volunteers and the quality of support that is delivered.
- Experience of working with people in the social care sector and an understanding of the Care Act
- A keenness to learn and develop
- Knowledge and experience of planning support and the tools available to do this
- Great leadership skills
- A strong commitment to increasing people’s connections and taking them on their journey of self- directed support
- Good working knowledge of IT and experience of managing budgets/resources
