Female Support Worker – West Oxfordshire (OX18)
Pay: Up to £18.00/hour
Hours: Full & Part Time available
Role Overview
Support our client who has a Spinal Cord Injury, living independently. This is a 1:1 role assisting with daily life, work, study, travel, and social activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support our client at work (including travel to London) and at Oxford University (Fine Art studies)
- Assist with an active lifestyle including travel (UK & abroad), social events, swimming, and festivals
- Provide practical support while promoting independence
- Drive a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for local and long-distance journeys
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and confidence driving large adapted vehicles
- Willingness to travel, including internationally
- Comfortable in professional settings and social environments (including events and around dogs)
- Confident with manual handling (training provided)
- Flexible and proactive approach
- DBS check required (Update Service desirable)
Pay Rates
- £16.50/hr (Mon–Fri days)
- £18.00/hr (Sat–Sun days)
- £12.71–£13.00/hr (sleeping nights)
- £12.71/hr (training)
Shifts
- Long Days: 7am–9pm
- Sleeping Nights: 9pm–7am
