Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to multiple locations within designated areas. Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles, including vans or lorries, to deliver packages across multiple destinations
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, ensuring items are secure during transit
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery from customers upon completion of each drop
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries made, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs
- Conduct routine vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance with legal requirements
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations throughout all aspects of the role
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role is preferred
- Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., car, van, or lorry)
- Experience with multi-drop deliveries is highly desirable
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and logistics operations is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Previous experience in warehouse environments or logistics will be considered an asset
This position requires organisational skills, reliability, and a customer-focused attitude. Candidates should be comfortable working independently while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism throughout their duties.
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
