Part-Time Independent Sandwich Shop Assistant

We’re a small, independent sandwich shop looking for friendly and reliable part-time staff to join our team.
About the role
- Flexible shifts between 8am–4pm (most shifts around fall between 1030am and 4pm)
- Tasks include: slicing bread, using a deli slicer, making sandwiches, preparing hot drinks on our espresso machine, serving customers, taking payments, and keeping the shop clean and tidy
What we’re looking for
- Experience in food handling, preparation, customer service, and coffee making is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential
- Food hygiene and/or barista training certificates are an advantage
- A flair for exciting flavour combinations and a genuine love of sandwiches
- Positive, hands-on attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Good time management and a friendly, customer-focused approach
- Someone with good availability, who's available to work during holiday periods

- Part-time, flexible hours
- Majority of shifts between 10.30am–4pm
- Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
- Work Location: In person
