Early Years Practitioner – Kids World Wombwell
Due to increased demand, we are excited to be expanding our amazing team at Kids World Wombwell.

We currently have a vacancy for a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team. This role is for 30–40 hours per week, all year round, working between 7:15am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday on a rota basis.
About You:
- Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare
- Have experience working within a quality pre-school environment
- Be dynamic, motivated, and able to work as part of a team
- Demonstrate initiative and excellent time management skills to ensure the smooth running of the nursery
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a warm, friendly smile that makes every child feel special
- Is comfortable communicating openly (even about the little things!)
- May not sing perfectly—but has the confidence to sing enthusiastically!
- Can quickly and accurately count a group of busy children
- Is comfortable discussing everyday childcare needs
- Can fully engage in imaginative play (including enjoying pretend tea and playdough creations!)
- Brings energy, humour, and a sense of fun to each day
- Enjoys being outdoors in all weather—we love outdoor learning!
- Is ready to feel valued, appreciated, and important to children and their families
