Littlefair Care Home is an independent family run care home in the heart of East Grinstead
We require a Food/Beverage Host/Hostess to work with our friendly team here at Littlefair every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday 8am-2.30pm.
Purpose of Job:
- To serve and clear up breakfast (with the assistance of the Care Staff) ensuring that the residents have everything they require to eat and drink.
- To ensure dining areas remain clean and tidy for the comfort of the residents and visitors.
- To complete the lunch and supper menu requests
- To collect and serve teas and coffees to residents at 10.30am using the trolley visiting all communal areas and bedrooms
- To collect dirty cups after tea round and return to the kitchen
- To lay tables for lunch in Dining Room
- To serve lunches (with the assistance of the Care Staff) and clear the tables when Residents have finished
- To help load dishwasher after lunch and put clean dishes away leaving the kitchen and Servery clean & tidy
- To ensure that the Dining Room tables are hygienically clean, tidy and ready for use.
- To ensure that the highest of standards are maintained to meet the requirements of the Environmental Health and Safety Inspector.
Other related tasks may be allocated from time to time to ensure that the residents receive the quality meal provision.
You need to be honest, reliable, a good time keeper and of a caring nature.
