Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Ward Clerk to join our Intensive Care Unit Team, with a salary up to £31,097.76 depending on experience.
This is a Monday-Sunday role with shifts falling between the hours of 08:00 & 20:30 – flexibility is required in the postholder as the working hours/shift patterns depend on the needs of the department.

What will your duties include:
Perform administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, letter writing and dealing with telephone enquiries regarding all aspects of clinic activity.
Communicate with wards and departments with regards to the transfer of patients with the aim to continually improve on session start and finish times and turn round between patients.
Deal initially with any face to face or telephone complaints from patients or GPs and refer to advice as appropriate.
Provide point of contact and service for patient’s families. Liaise with Concierge, GPs, Security and similar service support teams to provide a seamless experience for all.
Update departmental time sheets and enter workforce hours on Kronos/Workday/relevant electronic system.
What we need from you:
Excellent customer service skills
Highly refined verbal communication skills – a communicator who can deal with patients and next of kin from all over the world
Good keyboard and IT skills including Microsoft Office
Previous experience in a private hospital preferred
Experience of dealing with members of the public / patient facing roles
