Salary: £29,500 - £30,500
Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Supervisor to join our team within a specialist processing facility. The role involves overseeing products as they are received, logged, processed, inspected, and prepared for storage or client dispatch.
About the Role
As Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring all processes are completed efficiently and to the highest hygiene and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily operational activities and team members
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of equipment and work areas
- Monitor stock levels, consumables, and equipment maintenance
- Provide training and support to new and existing team members
- Ensure consistent output quality and adherence to turnaround times
- Open and close the warehouse as required
- Organise and sort products safely and correctly for storage or delivery
- Inspect products to ensure hygiene standards are met and items are free from contamination or damage
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to meet targets
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift licence desirable but not essential
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations
- Comfortable carrying out manual handling tasks
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and willing to undertake additional duties when required
