As we expand to our new St James location, combining speciality coffee with a café and brunch environment, we are looking for motivated Front of House Wait Staff to support our team and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
This role is ideal for someone looking to advance their career in the hospitality and speciality coffee industry. You will work alongside our barista team, supporting smooth service, helping where needed, and ensuring every customer has an excellent experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver polished, attentive, and personalised service in a high-volume, fast-paced café and brunch environment.
- Confidently manage multiple tables during peak service, maintaining speed, accuracy, and attention to detail at all times.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely, well-coordinated delivery.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of the menu, including food and speciality coffee offerings.
- Ensure tables and service areas are clean, organised, and well-presented at all times.
- Support smooth service flow through strong communication and coordination with front-of-house, barista, and kitchen teams.
- Anticipate customer needs and act proactively rather than reactively, even under pressure.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain consistently high service standards, particularly during busy and high-pressure service periods.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, ensuring all operational standards are met.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Contribute to a positive team culture and support colleagues during busy service periods.
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance in line with brand standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience in a Front of House role within a restaurant environment with table service.
- Experience in cafés or brunch environments is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
- Confidently handle multiple tables or tasks simultaneously without losing attention to detail.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Positive attitude and strong team player mindset.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends.
- Interest in food, hospitality, and speciality coffee is an advantage.

Pay: £12.80-£14.30 per hour
