Zen Educate are looking for a qualified Secondary Science Teacher in North Liverpool with experience teaching across KS3–KS4. We seek to place enthusiastic educators who can inspire curiosity and a love of learning within Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Combined Science.
There are Full Time, Part Time, Daily Supply and Long Term roles available, with the potential for permanent placement for the right candidate. Successful candidates will earn a minimum of £144 a day. If candidates impress in a school trial, they can be paid up to £200 a day depending on qualifications and experience.
What you will need to succeed:
A relevant teaching background delivering Science at secondary level. We are looking for confident, adaptable and passionate individuals who enjoy practical learning and helping students explore the world around them. Whether you are experienced or newly qualified, this role offers opportunities to develop specialist teaching skills and inspire future scientists.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students in gaining scientific skills, critical thinking and confidence in practical investigations within a classroom or laboratory setting.
The ideal Science Teacher should:
- Be Qualified / Newly Qualified / Experienced in teaching Science • Have a relevant background – Biology, Chemistry, Physics, STEM or mainstream secondary teaching • Have experience delivering Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 curriculum content • Be flexible, patient and able to adapt lessons to support varied learning needs • Be able to communicate effectively within a team • Be available to work 8.30–4.00pm
