We are looking for a capable person to run our mincing area which includes the production of Sausages and Burgers.
This position is Full time. IMMEDIATE START
You will be working in a modern refrigerated butchers as part of a family run business.
You will be working in a close knit environment where everybody helps everybody.
All protective clothing will be provided.
Five weeks holiday per year.
Loyalty bonus scheme in operation.
Training
You will be given full training on all aspects of the work involved.
Operating , Mincers, Sausage Machine, Burger Machine Vacuum packers and cleaning machines.
You will be expected to work on your own as soon as we are satisfied
that you are able to do the work properly and safely.
A willingness to learn and be prepared to adapt to changes as required will be required.
If you are interested we will be pleased to train you to become a butcher.
You will be expected to maintain a high level of hygiene.
Overview.
This vacancy will suit a person with good all round practical skills and common sense.
A background of catering skills could be an advantage.
For the right applicant this could be a long term position.
This is physical work that does require a reasonable level of fitness.
You will have to lift trays of meat up to 25kg+
