Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile Facilities Engineer to oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimisation of mobile facilities across various locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably. The engineers position requires a lot of travelling to and from sites and will be provided with a company van.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mobile facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Repair or replace faulty components, including welding tasks where necessary, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Programme and modify programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to improve system efficiency and functionality.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings for maintenance and installation tasks.
- Supervise maintenance activities, providing guidance and leadership to team members.
- Coordinate with clients to address service requests promptly, maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Ensure all work is documented accurately in maintenance logs and reports.
- Assist in training junior staff or apprentices on technical procedures and safety protocols.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Pay: £28,000.00 per year
