Hazéls St Albans is looking for a talented and passionate Weekend Chef to join our kitchen team. Led by Chef Drew Knight, Hazéls is a unique, independent restaurant and wine bar built around exceptional food, brilliant music and genuine hospitality.
Our menu celebrates seasonal ingredients, quality suppliers and a love of classical French cookery, with dishes designed for sharing and bringing people together. We’re looking for a Weekend Chef who wants to be part of a creative and welcoming kitchen; someone reliable, enthusiastic and passionate about quality cooking, who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive team.
The role:
Working with Chef Drew Knight and the kitchen team during our busiest services.
Supporting preparation and delivery of our seasonal menu.
Maintaining high standards across prep, service and presentation.
Bringing consistency, attention to detail and a positive attitude to every shift.
Working as part of a friendly, ambitious team who genuinely love what they do.
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment.
A calm, organised approach during busy services.
Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to get involved.
Excellent attention to detail.
Passion for seasonal ingredients and quality cooking.
Someone dependable who enjoys being part of a positive kitchen culture.
