We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Officer to join our team and take ownership of recruitment across the Group. This is an excellent opportunity for a recruitment professional with experience in Health and Social Care and Home Office sponsorship compliance to play a key role in supporting the growth and success of our organisation.
The Role
As Recruitment Officer, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle across multiple care services, ensuring we attract, recruit and onboard high-quality candidates while maintaining full compliance with safer recruitment practices, Home Office sponsorship requirements and employment legislation.
You will work closely with managers across the Group to support recruitment needs and help ensure services remain fully staffed with skilled and compassionate care professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from vacancy approval through to onboarding.
- Advertise vacancies on Indeed and other recruitment platforms.
- Screen applications and conduct telephone, virtual and face-to-face interviews.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and operational teams.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future vacancies.
- Manage recruitment activity across all Lipa Care companies and future acquisitions.
- Process DBS applications, references and pre-employment checks.
- Prepare and issue offer letters and employment contracts.
- Coordinate onboarding, induction and training arrangements for new starters.
- Maintain accurate employee and recruitment records.
- Manage Skilled Worker Visa recruitment processes.
- Maintain the Sponsor Management System (SMS).
- Issue and manage Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS).
- Monitor visa expiry dates and sponsorship compliance requirements.
- Complete Right to Work checks in accordance with Home Office guidance.
- Support the organisation in maintaining full Sponsor Licence compliance.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous recruitment experience within the Health and Social Care sector.
- Experience managing high-volume recruitment campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of safer recruitment practices.
- Experience with Skilled Worker Visa recruitment and sponsorship compliance.
- Experience using the Sponsor Management System (SMS).
- Knowledge of Right to Work legislation and Home Office requirements.
- Excellent communication and interviewing skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and vacancies simultaneously.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or working towards.
- Experience within domiciliary care, supported living or residential care services.
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and workforce requirements.
