We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Apprentice to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Support medication administration procedures under supervision
- Maintain organised stock levels and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
- Provide excellent patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on over-the-counter products
- Prepare prescription labels and packaging in accordance with regulatory standards
- Help with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and inventory management
- Uphold health and safety standards within the pharmacy environment
- Support the team during busy periods to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with a caring approach towards patients
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team
- A genuine interest in medication management and patient care
- Willingness to undertake training and develop professional skills in pharmacy practice
- Must be organised, reliable, and committed to maintaining confidentiality at all times
Pay: £8.00 per hour
