Sure Staffing UK Limited is recruiting experienced Quality Auditor to join a well-established food manufacturing business specialising in high-quality seafood products supplied to major retailers and customers across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced production environment with ongoing work available.
We are looking for a hands-on QA Operative to join our Technical team at our Hull site. You will play a key role in ensuring products meet food safety, legality, authenticity, and quality standards throughout the production process.
This role involves carrying out factory-based quality checks, monitoring production standards, and supporting compliance across both retail and food service production lines.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday: 6am–2pm
Pay rate:£13.50 per hour (paid weekly)
Location:Hull, HU3 area
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out quality checks on finished products, including pack weights, seal quality, date codes, and pack counts
- Complete CCP checks across production lines
- Monitor checkweighers and metal detectors, investigating rejections where required
- Complete traceability and due diligence documentation accurately
- Carry out glass and Perspex audits
- Monitor cold store temperatures and complete equipment accuracy checks
- Conduct cook tests and quality sampling throughout the shift
- Carry out raw material checks on fish, ingredients, and packaging
- Monitor production paperwork and ensure records are completed correctly
- Support food safety, hygiene, and quality standards across the factory
About You
- Previous experience in a quality/technical experience within food manufacturing
- Good understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced factory environment
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Food industry experience is preferred
