1:1 Teaching Assistant & Mid-Day Meal Supervisor – Fixed Term
8:30am – 3:15pm
We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and professional teaching assistant to work 1:1 with a lovely child in Year R who has additional needs related to communication and interaction. This child is happy, friendly and enjoys being part of the classroom community. They need a nurturing adult who can help them access learning, build routines, and feel secure and confident in the classroom environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and wider team to support the child’s development and engagement in learning activities.
The role includes Midday Meals Supervision paid at the same grade as a Teaching Assistant.
Experience of working with children with autism is desirable, but not essential — training and ongoing support will be provided.

- demonstrates strong behaviour management skills
- has good English and Mathematics skills
- is committed to inclusive practice
- is open to training and professional development
